All the F4Us are currently equipped for carrier ops, as far as I can recall
Only the F4U-1A (beta) has been upgraded with all the new damage model stuff tho. The most recent version of that is at www.simfiles.com
The current plan (I guess) is to tweak the flight model on the F4U-1D to make it "less sensitive" for the guys having joystick problems with it. Not the solution I would've preferred, but I can't very well just say "get a different joystick." I'm also planning on reworking the engine damage slightly so that there aren't as many "virtual engines" being used, which should get rid of a sound problem some folks have reported.
I'll try and get the F4U-1D converted over the next couple of weeks, so guys can try it and make sure it solves the "twitchiness" problem. The F4U-1A will remain unchanged, because I (and others) like it the way it is. That will at least hopefully give everyone a "flyable" Corsair. I'll update the birdcage, -4, and Brit Corsair too, but I gather they're not going to be base pack planes, so they'll be a bit later...
Other naval planes...
Wildcat
Barracuda?
Hellcat?
Dauntless?
All Zeros were carrier planes

We have some Japanese carriers "floating around" somewhere too, don't we? (Maybe they're already in the main planepack tho).
