Topic: strange online problem

I did a reinstall of SDOE one week ago and thought all my online gaming problems are solved and yes most of them are fixed.But there is one strange thing:
during last week i flew some nice missions without trouble but last weekend the cloacking problem went back.
Some pilots didnīt saw me during a mission.
I was invisible for them. For me i can say that i didnīt have trouble. I could see all other planes with minimal Lag.
And here is the strangest thing: The other players who didnīt saw me where hit by me so my plane was invisible but the cannons worked well. So i wonder why my plane location packets are lost in the depth of the internet and the gunfire information not. Rendsburger IP: Logged |

So that was YOU in that Klingon thingy that blew me away? Yes Ghost, I mean Rends  unfortunately you were cloaking very much to me too however, you were not alone as I also noticed the same thing happening with Gremlin=225th= and one other pilot too but I can't recall who exactly it was. I concur that the games you and I had before the weekend just gone were fine with no secret cloaking devices being used. I wonder if this is a problem unique to adsl users? I don't have any answers for you but I hope you can find a solution to it soon. ------------------

It is not a problem of their installation Rends; it should have some other servant problem.
To my it happened me the same several times during last week, and the same thing happened to my opponent. Last Saturday it also happened me, but few times.Gustavo ------------------

maybe itīs because of to much traffic around the world.

Hi,I am also have ADSL from the german Telekom as Rends. For me Rends was not invisable, only sometimes lagging.
I do not think, that is a ADSL problem.
He had the best pings than the others, arround 100 - 150. The others were arround 300 - 500. Steffen ------------------
