I remember a while back that someone tried to make updated statup.ppf, etc. files available, but if I recall correctly, they ran into trouble. Is there somewhere I can pickup the latest:Startup.ppf
Sounds.ppf
MissionEditor.ppf
Any other such files
If they exist, I would also like to know what they actually include (i.e. what expansion planes, terrains, etc.) so I know what I still have to add manually.
Also, I have just entered the high-res world thanks to my new PC. Are the Hi-res SM files available at SimFiles the latest and greatest? I ask because the release date on them seems to predate the release of PP6.1 if I recall correctly.
Finally, are there any plane makers out there who have made available updated SM files for hi-res textures for their planes? I'm thinking of planes like GT's Manchester which pre-date the ability to have hi-res skins. Presumably, new planes, such as the Stirling, will have such support built in from the start.
