When flying SDOE i have real trouble seeing the fighters, i cant use padlock and i dont want to learn how to(am to use to mouse look, although when head on attacks padlock looks great as the enemy wizz's by), but is there a way to get aircraft labels?
mmmmmm as in cfs2?

yes there is .... Alt V or Ctrl V ... or something like that!!!!

I can never remember what it is!!! I ended up finding it by trial and error

Someone released a keyboard reference card ...which is well worth tracking down. Try Simfiles for it

Yup....Alt V...and then T to padlock enemy fighters or Alt T or Crtl T (can't remember) to padlock friendlies-- which helps in formation flying
