I'll start this off with a sneak peak at the barren desert south of Tobruk. [This message has been edited by Diego Lozano (edited 11-27-2001).] IP: Logged |

Now I understand why that clipped wing spits camo look that way , I'ts wonderful Diego! Are you going to stop the terrain making !?!, please donīt... We'll soon need a Norwegian fjord, maybe a conversion of Bavaria with water between the mountains, oh well may be someone else could pic up the torch. as always you highlight the atmosphere in this game with terrains. Nice, whats the res on the ground textures like compared to the originals? It looks a bit pixely but maybe thats cause the orginals really don't have as much detail? IP: Logged |

Magnificent Diego................ I already imagine the Fox of the desert with their Panzer divisions after that hill. I will love that terrain. When we will have it? ------------------ I./JG 27 Alle Messerschmitt bf109 IP: Logged |

Diego, that is amazing! I'll be lucky if I can ever come close to making something look that nice. Which reminds me, I've got some more terrain questions for you now that I have SDOE working again. Have to write them up when I get home from class today Great work again ------------------ -Blacksheep http://geocities.com/jays3299/toshindo.html [This message has been edited by Blacksheep (edited 11-27-2001).] IP: Logged |

mhhhm ...just thinking....would it be possible to add 'dust' to the moving vehicles as a 'loadout' (this would be at the object level), or perhaps to the whole terrain?? so that when something moves at zero altitude it creates smoke/dust??? just wondering gt

gt, that is possible with the new patch. You can make the smoke rise or fall. I set it to fall. When the vehicle is stopped it falls straight down and is under vehicle, you don't notice it. When the vehicle moves it trails behind it.The problem is that it does not look natural. I will try and dig up the test Jeep that has this and send it to Harm. IP: Logged |

Thanks guys I spoke too soon about my demise. I've re-discovered...for about the 3rd time...the little joys of terrain building. Mind you, I dont build 'em, I just paint 'em. Rendsberger is doing all of the hard work shovelling sand into all the right places I still would like to see some screens posted of anything new. I'm diggin' that dust idea more and more. Blacksheep, Send 'em away and I'll try and answer them. IP: Logged |

BTW Diego, that pic is stunning. It is my new wallpaper, can't wait to fly over it.I will post some info about the dust behind a vehicle in the Tech forum and send what I have to Harm. IP: Logged |

Guys, I hope you don't mind but I'm re-uploading these over to MobyGames - go there and search on "Fighter Squadron".Anway, does anyone have that amazing picture of the Ju 52 just getting airborne? I think that was one of the best. The article could also use a lot more action shots, the ones I have are very old. BTW, when I hit Print Screen the machine pauses for a sec like it's doing something. But I can't find the picture anywhere. What's my "duh"? Maury IP: Logged |

If you are just using the game and not Hypersnap or something like that to take a screenie, it is the Z key that captures them into your SDOE folder.[This message has been edited by Jeeves (edited 11-28-2001).] IP: Logged |

If you are using "printscreen" in windows or another program, it just puts it in the clipboard. You need to paste it into a paint program to save it on disk.IP: Logged |
