Guys
Now I've played enough with the new add-ons without ever mentioning anything....

Mace:
Your floatplanes are wonderful!!! The Ju88, the Japanese one and the Spitfire are gorgeous! I've played around sooo much with them...I'm not even able to stop playing aoround with SDOE every night since they came out!

Harman:
Just downloaded your GP2 and played the training missions! This opens a completely new sight for this game, those details! Excellent!

Dance:
Thank you mate for changing the Arado AR196 'fake' also into a floatplane. Missions over the ocean terrain now definitely make sense!

Diego:
Thanks for the work with the italian fake package!
The ocean terrain is definitively a 'must-have', the Bavaria also! Thx to Rends, Aladar, WTG and WM also!

Gustavo:
Ombre. Working with you is great fun, altough we've sometimes a little bit of problems understanding each other, but I'm realy looking forward for the Stirling (and perhaps for the Halifax )

Rendsburger:
The first 'whoaaa' effect of your work where the searchlights (you've no idea how long I was waiting for them)! Then came the train-stuff and now the Smolensk terrain. One word: GREAT!

3dp:
Your skins are fabolous man! I've tryied a high-res skin for the Lancaster and all I can say is: That's a horendous amount of work to be done with those 1024x1024 skins. I never tought that it would be so much work
Plus you ARE THE reference when it comes to Bomber-Command (images, etc. etc.).

Now I've probably not mentioned a couple of you guys...sorry, of course this THANKYOU goes to everyone: The Patch-Team, the Crew, the planebuilders, the ship-builders, the skin-makers , the site-owners, etc. etc.

PS:
I know this sounds selfish, but I've put back all those other (also nice) sims into the shelf (EAW, CFS2, etc.). They are probably better in certain aspects, but they provide never the same amount of fun as SDOE does!!

PPS:
A little problem still remains.....what can I tell to my wife? Every time I start the PC at home she sounds like 'ohhh NO, how long are you playing this night with this SIM??'

cheers and thumbs up

I totally agree with you gt there are many talented people that deserve our thanks. I would just like to add the names of Tailslide Jedi and Casualty to that list. Some of their work is unsurpassed...

GT, thank you for their recognition words
I am having a great progress with the doors of the bombs of the Stirling; soon they will be clever. Then I will continue with the landing train. Soon I will have him novelties.

I have the same problem with my wife; I believe that soon I will have to choose between her or SDOE

And a big thank you to you too GT! We Bomber Command fans in particular really appreciate your work. By the way, I've recently come into a few more photos which you can use for the Bomber Command squadrons (for BTR2?). If you need any, just let me know the plane(s) and numbers you need via email.

That was a great post GT, thank you for your kind words. I'll include Scorpion Rouges' name also, he was a major contributing factor to GP2, many great 3d models came from him.

Right now there's not much progress in the field of new vehicles...I'm taking a little break and making a pla- er....taking a little break yes.
