Hi Dude,
Liked your Arado so much, thought I might have a go at getting this bird to work on water, and borrowing heavily on Mace's technology I did it. Also fixed a few other things, it's now patch 1.5.2.9. compatible, the beaching gear will work, as will the float rudders. You can now take off or land or sea to your heart's content. The take off run on water is longer than the Spit or A6M2-N floatplanes.This is due to the SBD-5 model the Arado is based on being as heavy as both of them put together!, but it's not too bad. Have knocked up some missions and an alternative skin for you, hope you like it, the SBD-5 texture map is FUBAR though. All in all water handling is very good, even if I say so myself All normal floatplane rules apply. Would have just mailed it to you but at 1.4M thought I'd better ask if you want it first! (no upload capability sorry)

I missed this one, this is just what I´ve been waiting for.
Now could someone please put the crane & catapult on the Scharnhorst
(it had one Ar196) and the Gneisenau (it had two Ar196s). Both of them can be found at Scorpion rouges site, "just" replace the Ju87s PLEASE, PLEASE some one / Steve

This would be awesome...a catapult start from the Scharnhorst, intercept the Seafires or SeaHurris and then try to land back near the ship...... uahhhh!!

Yeah GT, I´m slowly but steadily completing the new hi-res textures for Scharn. & Gneis. so yes it WILL look realy neat I´d bet ya & there will also be a Bismarck & Tirpitz that would need 2 Ar196s each. Steve

Hmmm, been waiting for someone to mention the Sharnhorst, and...... No I haven't done it yet but I'm looking into it, time permitting. That is unless someone else is already doing it !
