Wulfe190 Pilot	posted 09-29- 07:12 AM Has anyone had this problem with a Gateway computer? I have given my SDOE disk to a friend so he and I could fly together online. The only thing is that all he gets is a blank screen. He can hear the music and the speechs but that's it. If anyone has encountered this problem please tell me what to tell him so he can get his problem solved. If info about his system is needed I will get it. goth Pilot	posted 09-29- 08:15 AM My first guess would be the video card. If its an on-board chip for the video, it may not be a 3d engine. Can you tell us the type of Gateway it is? IP: Logged

Psi Pilot	posted 09-29- 02:00 PM I use a Gateway but a I have a Banshee card. My guess is that it may be something in DX6 which your prompted to install with the game. I have DX7 and imo I think it works best at least on my system. See what version he is using and if he had 7 installed and selected to install v6 then he may have a conflict. Go to "Find" in the menu and go to files and folders type in DxDiag and see what version he is running. youcan also do a trouble shoot in there... P IP: Logged
