Can anyone please convert the Plane Pack 6.0
into a mac readable format. Please I already have Plane Pack 6.1 but it needs Plane Pack 6.0 for it to work. I would really appreciate the help .

P.S. Is there a place I can download Bf-109's at, or are they only in the plane packs?

If you have access to a PC download the plane pack to it and istall it. You will now have access to the PAR files added to your setup. If you can't use those PAR as is you can split them up into their components with the BigMunger tool.

Again this is taking into account you have access to a PC to do the dirty work.

If you need help with this just drop me an e-mail

I'd help if I could Joey, but the extent of my dealing with Macs is cursing the guys at the printers' when they send me CDs with digital source material I've requested, and I have to add the extention to each file for them to read properly on the PC.

Hey thanks to you all for replying! Sorry I don't have access to any PC, so that limits me greatly. Oh and what is macZIP and where can I get it? Thanks again.

Okay guys I downloaded zipit and maczip, and what they do is convert the .exe file into a .zip but when I try to open the .zip it just makes another .exe file it doesn't really open up all the planes or anything.
Thanks for the help, I really really apprieciate it.

Yeah, the problem is that PP6 comes with a nice installer for the PC people. The whole pack and installer are an EXE file, which can't be opened on the Mac. Does anyone know what actual files are installed with the PP6 installer?

How is the Mac version? When did it come out?

Thats my suggestion:
Once the Mac version is up,letīs look if it is online compatible with the PC version.
Then any should post the par files of the upcoming basepacks and nationspack and not the old planepack!

For the mac user:
If you didnīt find anyone who post par files then u need someone who run a pc emulation like virtualPC and a copy of FS Pc version. on his Mac.So it will be no problem then to use an Pc installer to get the par files.

Wait a darn tootin moment, do you mean out of the box, (no add on's or packs), you can fly online with each other?? Mac/PC. If not, why not?!!? Many games do that, quake for ex.

So, do I get this right, what you need is:

PP6 in ZIP format, not in exe installer format?

If this is the case, bear with me, I'll sort that out for you and post it on my ftp then let you know when it's there.

Very unfortunately, they said that it won't be cross platform

They also said that it's gonna rock on the Mac platform... 2x/3x FPS then PC w/same mhz

Os X compatible

Hope its gonna do it though

It's supposed to be out for november
...Still waiting

i never read official postings that it will be not online compatible to the PC version, but i read that here too a while ago.
I hope it will be but the Mac version isnīt developed by the same team who did the PC verson,so it can be right that it isnīt compatible.
So wait until itīs released and iīm sure all Macuser will get the same community support here like the PC users.

Would you Nat! Please convert it, that would be so cool!!! I can't wait for this game!!! I've been coming to this forum for over a year now and I drool over everything!! Getting the plane pack would make sure that I can enjoy these wonderful creations you guys have made. So hopefully November is the month, I still have hope but this game has been delayed so many times I don't know what to expect. Thanks guys, you've all been very helpful and I truly appreciate it.

OK, PP6 is now on my public FTP, there is a basic readme included. File size is 36mb, I'm sorry if my FTP is slow, I'm working on speeding it up, but I'm caped at 14Kbs upload.

Hope this helps Joey
