You'll be seeing some nice ground battles around Tobruk. Maybe even a few M.C.202s flying CAP...IP: Logged |

Well they'll start moving...but soon stop after a minute or two. I thought I had it made, but the AI still loathes these things (no matter how good they look ). Rends had a go at getting them to drive 100% too but it looks like this is as good as it gets for now. So yes they will drive, but stop soon. But there is some good news out of this, I have managed to get the AI planes and static ground objects to shoot at you while you drive so the AI won't completely ignore the vehicles at least. There's some training missions in GP2 that will take advantage of this new feature too. IP: Logged |

Hey GT, I _already_ have a write-up for you. Can you send me the loadout file so I can paste it in and mail it back to you? BTW, do you mind changing it to "Mk.I" (lower case the K). I'm trying to get every plane to look identical in naming etc. Maury

hey mauroshure.....at the moment this is just a replacement for the MK.IA (other sm file), but as soon as I've sorted all things out (training-mission, hangar, etc. etc.) I'm gona 'release' this thing on my webpage. gt

Ok cool. Mail me the IA too and I'll work that up too. Question for you (and everyone really), should each plane's readme contain a complete history? Since the release of the 109E I only include the "changes" information in the readme, so for instance the 109F simply talks about the transition from the E to the F. Does that work? It makes them smaller and more detailed, but it also means that if you get only one of the planes the history isn't very useful. Maury IP: Logged |

Well from the WWI team:You all will soon get a Patch that updates the OP-WWI Plane Pack 2 to version 'a'. It includes new ground units, better DM and adds two new aircraft to the OP-WWI PP2. (Maurice Farman S.11 and the Aviatik C.I) There will now be night misssions with spotlights and sirens and churchbells! (Yes Im actually using these ground units for once. They have ben slightly updated aswell...) Ive also included blast 109's new WWI GUI art and Somme map aswell as Harman_5s Moska Mission Pack. Its currently being online tested by a few guys... A Somme Mission Pack is also on the horizon. Its already done, and Im just waiting until the Patch is out so I can release it. It converts all the existing WWI Training missions and Hangar missions to use the Full Updated Somme Terrain. Some mission tweaks have ben added aswell... Then once those two projects are out, I will start work on the Caproni Ca.42 and Caudron G.4. These combined will take wakeup tailgunner and I about 3-4 months to fully complete. wakeup tailgunner is also working on a SPAD and a Halberstadt D.II aswell as a French Tank (Static only) and some updates to the D.H.2. (Along with FlyXWire) As you can see MUCH is on the way!!! There is also butt loads more projects!!! To name a few: WWI Zepplin, Nieuport 11 and Handley Page bomber by Ronin. Albatros B.II by jgro (Ive tested the alpha out and Im VERY impressed so far!) [This message has been edited by ArgonV (edited 09-20-2001).] IP: Logged |

Using the P38L (based on P38J) as an example.... Track all initial changes that caused it to become a variant (dive brakes, gun pod load out and of course, any FM changes). It should then track all fututre changes made. IMHO it does not need to track changes made to it while it was the previous variant....
