Khadgar Cadet	posted 09-07- 11:54 PM Hmm I finnaly got my joystick and the wait for SDOE is over....now only if my performance didnt suck @$$ like it does. Right now I have nations 2 and am usin the latest Wings with wires patch with PP6.0, The framerates i get are good, but everytime somthing happens the game stops for 2 seconds then resumes like its loading somthing. Im guessing its useless to list but here we go 1.4ghz Geforce 3 256mb ram 30.6 Seagate barracuda Win2kpro (all upadates) latest drivers The boxed version of SDOE and the updated ones dont work they say there is a error when i try to start them up, only tried 1 WWW patch. -Khadgar IP: Logged

Pye Pilot	posted 09-08- 08:20 AM thanks kADGAR,, Am sure now that it isn't my pc, playing up, with this delay, It used to be a big delay, now it's smaller about a second or, 2. Really it never used to be like this tho, I just got used to it and exepted the fact. I'm ONLY posting this so you don't start thinking it's your PC as I did. IP: Logged

Maury Markowitz Pilot	posted 09-08- 04:40 PM You need to fix Win2K. Use the Windows Update to get Service Pack 2, and install and reboot. Then make a shortcut to the game. When you get Properties on the shortcut you'll notice a new Compatibility tab. Select Windows 95 Compatibility. Now run the app from now on using the shortcut and everything works fine. Khadgar Cadet	posted 09-08- 08:51 PM WoW what a fucked up windows moment, Maury that works only if i put it in my local disk on the first level if i have it in any folder it says unable to read file and then gives the listing of where app.exe is but its wrong and some charecters are missing, so i put it in a lower level and bango it works. D3D freezes alot but opengl works great on everything but 1600x1200 and for some reason it doesnt choose the highest refresh rate and that makes the props give a very bad look, also is there any way to get 32bit color? the clouds are ugly in 16. Also anyone know any missions with alot of action, and i tried to move fog line back by changing .ini and i changed it but it looks the same in SDOE.. Anyways... IM ADDICTED!!!! -Khadgar IP: Logged
Khadgar Cadet	posted 09-10- 09:38 PM Also its amazing how close you get to other planes in SDOE in A-10 you never got close to anything i mean i just pull in behind and bomber and just let my guns rip through him and then i fly through the big black smoke cloud and i look back and see a rain of parts....Kewl. only problem is i have a problem with some graphics just being squares. -Khadgar IP: Logged
