Once again, from Seeeemmerns paintshop Ltd. comes a calendar for yourrrr desktop. Shiver me timbers, hope you like it! ------------------ Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunwards I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there. I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air. IP: Logged |

You're right Snick, I'm editing my profile right now, I haven't really cared about doing it before, but as it is such a nice poem, and oh-so-great looking together with that Spit painting, I'm gonna do it. Happy?? ------------------ Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunwards I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there. I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air... Up, up, the long, delirious burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark nor even eagle flew And while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God IP: Logged |

I,ve always loved that poem it brings to mind the opening sequence from the film "The sound barrier" by David lean with a MkIX Spitfires performing a sky ballet. The Callenders great one for my desk top,I wonder, Where did you get the font from it would be good to have that for some WW1 stuff I've got planned?Happy landings Blast IP: Logged |

As you so delightfully put it, can you "smack one together" for me?------------------ Snickers =FC= Thou shalt maintaineth altitude, lest the earth rise up and smite thee. IP: Logged |

Let's not delve too deeply into the world of prose here. I prefer to use a slightly different and 'simpler' form of writing here than I am doing now .And what would the theme of that calendar be? A jet, a cicilian plane, Luftwaffe, whatever? I'll see what I can do. IP: Logged |

It's great Semmern, ya think that's an authentic paint job on that 190, that would be awsome to have P IP: Logged |

I don't always remember to post a thanks semm...but I always copy it to my desktop....it goes without saying that it is very useful for me as I do a lot of my work for school on the computer at home....although I am not a huge fan of the Luftwaffe planes....but I will take what I can get ------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! Do you _really_ need to ask what theme I would like ------------------ Snickers =FC= Thou shalt maintaineth altitude, lest the earth rise up and smite thee. IP: Logged |

BTW - If you take that imake into Paint shop Pro and do a Median Cut, it will get rid of the distortions caused by enlarging it. (You will lose a little detail, but not that much...)IP: Logged |
