Topic: an idea for a new forum here..what do you think?

Even though I don't fly online, I had this idea. What about adding a new forum here called something like "Online Today" or whatever. It would be for people to post for up coming online missions, campaigns, tournaments, challenges, ect...The sponsor (i.e.-the guy putting up the posting) could list the time, date, server info, era, terrian, ect... Interested parties can post replies... Also, one could list if more exotic or beta aircraft where to be used & where to get them to promote compatiblity issues... Maybe even a form or format could be adopted.. Just an idea from someone watching from the sidelines  hip63  ------------------

That's a great idea MH but I think if it's somewhere else other than here people won't see it. When I get back into the online stuff I'll probably do what I've done in the past and just toss up an invite here in general. I know it'll get much exposure that way and possibly get a big group on  P IP: Logged |

MH,Good idea! I agree with PSI, needs to be on the fourm list here. There should also be a specific time zone set for the time standard. ------------------

There was talk at one time to make a display that qwould tell you if players were on at the moment, like a light or some type of indicator. But I think that many folks are real busy trying to get this game so that there aren't as many problems online. For the time being maybe we should just do as I suggested until one of these real smart guys think of a way to make it so when you visit the general forum you can see if someone is online at that moment. It's a great concept though MH and I would welcome some type of "real time" request forum, so as to get people to fly more online.Hey ^Archer^ great looking site ya got there, I enjoyed your pictures. I usually use SDOE Beeper for 1.5 and http://www.eberhardt.net/SDOE/servtest.php3
for the patch when looking to play on line, but that would be cool to know in advance when there will be a few pilots. A post in the general section might be the simplest for now on.

I find very good the idea. We could organize this way encounters daily, or small tournaments, and until you he/she could make a list of number of airplanes demolished for all those that we don't have a squadron.
I propose an idea:
For that don't use some section of this forum that doesn't have a lot of use, I eat for example the one of "Site Announcements" or some other one for this.
