For those of you waiting for planes from me- ANOTHER hitch. Now that I got Windows reinstalled, the machine OPS will run on blew the power supply. OPS won't run on this machine  , just crashes. So . . . .I'm picking up another power supply, installing it tomaorrow, and saying a prayer that it didn't take the motherboard out too. Snick, Hawk, Razer, sorry about this. IP: Logged |

Good luck Sam.This year, within the space of 3 months I had a direct lightning hit on my house which, although only damaging a few roof tiles, managed 2 fry my PC and a few of my vital appliances (VCR/Microwave) and once that was sorted out my virtually as new PC caught VD from an infected email (it was a brand new worm and I had failed 2 update my virus scanner that week).Installing the OS is, IMHO, the least of the problems.I find reinstalling all my apps and utilities extremely time consuming, and I won't even mention having to re-d/l from the net all the stuff that I had failed 2 back-up on CD-R (if at all possible). I've tried emailing u again but still no joy.I guess email is the least of your probs right now! IP: Logged |

Hope you get up and running soon DJ.Bad luck...you wanna hear bad luck Hawkwind...how about losing your entire World War II miniature collection (Eastern Front) of over 15,000 vehicles, towed guns, infantry , planes in 15mm scale and two computers to a small house fire.
