Thank you for posting I have been wondering how we could help coordinate online flying seems like I am always checking to see if someone is flying, I mean I check like almost as much as I check this site which is about every hour if I am home.

One must remember that the phonetic alphabet on this site is of Brit origin. The Yanks don't use all the same words as the rest of us do. IE: 'E' = Echo. Stateside, 'E' = Easy.

Thanks hemi & sunray I apprectiate your comments.

I guess our Military Phonetic Alphabet is probably based on the UK. I thought it was standardised via ABCA agreements though...but I could be wrong

Anyone want to add their town/city/country to the table ?

All I ask is that you confirm how much +/- GMT(UTC) you are. Provide normal and summer time too if that's applicable.

Actually Sunray- we do use Echo in the Navy in the states. All of the others are the same. The US Navy at least uses the same call sign for all of the letters, makes NATO ops easier.
