"Wings of Honor is down, but thankfully, it's not my host's fault (Utopia). They were in the midst of renegotiating their network service contract with Colossus, and somebody decided to cut off service with no notice whatsoever. I had a long talk with Jeremiah, the owner of Utopia, just a little while ago, and if I stay with them (like I've got a choice...LOL) he'll give me three months free. There's not many hosts that would contact all of their clients by phone, explain the situation to them, and then offer 3 MONTHS of free service. I'm not happy about WoH being down, but this has confirmed what I thought about Utopia... they're a good company.
Now before you say "Hey Jupes, if they're so good, why is your site down?", let me say this; I contacted Colossus (it took almost 4 hours with EVERY mode of communication - all of their e-mail addresses, all of their phone numbers, and I even faxed the bastards - before they called me back) and they pretty much admitted the fault was theirs through a misunderstanding. They told me they were going to try and get Jeremiah's business back. I told them good luck and that there was no excuse for such an asinine move on their part (that's putting what I said VERY mildly... I had a raging headache and laid into the bastards).

Bottom line is that Jeremiah is nailing down a contract with a new network service provider and WoH should be back up in 72 hours. I actually needed the break anyway as I have other sites to work on, and damn, I might even like to fly a little.

I have a small favor to ask you guys... please help me spread the word that WoH will be back up in 3 days. I just hope that between this and the forum registration problem that I'm not losing too many people for good..."
