I've been asked about this a couple of times so here goes. I don't wanna repeat myself to much so here's the readme:

Template for Hi-Res Bf109E skin for SDOE.
This is a template for Photoshop users containig two layers
There's a background layer containing the basic camo pattern
as a reference and there's another layer containing all the
panel lines. Weathering and markings and the rest is all up to
You, but this saves You the boring work off doing all the panel
lines.

The Panel lines are drawn following 109 blueprints (got no idea of
their origin, sorry!) and when the main lines were finished detailes
were added by cut and paste.

The colors in the background are the ones I've used for my planes
although they look quite different to a finished skin after all my
weathering.

If You use this template PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some feedback
I need to know how and if it works good before I put up more templates
like this one.
Also since panel lines are such a boring thing to draw, if You release
a skin made with this template I wouldn't mind proper credits for it

Great idea about posting your "clean" template!

My request is to have ALL skinners--who use layered graphics in their work--to shoot those guys on over to simFILES. This would make skinning so much easier. It really is a pain to try to remove markings and weathering from a ship so you can make your own mods.

Just an idea,
