I'm doing a contolled rebuild. The AI must fly!
Using the me262 as the base, after replacing major parts and/or parameters, AI is tested.
Its slow, but that *#*'ing AI has to work.

This should be applied to all planes before they get into the Plane Packs.

Wil,

Forgive my ignorance(vacation time and all) but does the ai no longer fly the me262 correctly? If not what are they doing wrong?

Also what plane pack version are you using as a base to start rebuilding it from, pp6.0 or pp6.1? The main difference would be pp6.1 has the engine damage code in it.

Are you thinking maybe the engine damage code or just even saving a change to the sm file broke the ai for the me262 in pp6.1?

Thanks,

The ME262 is just fine.
What I am doing is tranforming it slowly into the JUEF128. After each major change I test the AI.

For the AI to fly, the aircraft needs to have 4 wing parts.

Anyone know where the beta for this plane is located? I skimmed simfiles but didn't see it there, and I did a search through the forum but came up empty for working links.
