yeah great sky and i would love to have such a sky in game. Look at this: http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005317.html But with the very slow ( or stopped?)progress of the patch whe might never see something in our game Rendsburger IP: Logged |

That's a Typhoon, and I'm sorry to say guys but that was an early rendered image of the game and not real in-game footage.IP: Logged |

All this talk of Hi res terrains, cities and now graduated skies is making me into a drooling idiot .[This message has been edited by Commando (edited 08-14-2001).] IP: Logged |

Using the patch, be creative with your fog and sky settings, and it helps a lot to push out your fog. Werner ------------------ Abbeville Field: Dedicated to the SDOE Experience. IP: Logged |

Its a big flat textured square i put behind the hills. It will not fogged out but it clipped out if the farclip distance reached. If this could be changed then it will be no problem to get such sky in game. Rendsburger

+cool Ren, thats similar to the stary night sky I worked on a while back, I never mentioned it before because I never got it working to acceptable standards, but looking at your pic, these could be worth looking into once again, but I agree with what you say, farclip has to be pushed right back orelse you don't see the effect until you're close enough. Good work all the same IP: Logged |
