Great work Mace.I imagine pulling along side to pick up downed aircrew will be a real challenge. Who said air sea rescue isn't exciting. Now if we could just get someone to model a Sunderland flying boat the allies would be very grateful IP: Logged |

That is one cool '88 there Mace. How'd you get the Fw190 to stay in the water like that? That's interesting... ------------------ Visit FS:SDOE Online Future Home Of FS:SDOE Online HERE IP: Logged |

Before I start -=Snake=- is the old Snake. I was editing my profile and lost access to my old profile somehow!Anyway mace would it be possible the make all planes float on water now for a short period of time? Then we could ditch our planes maybe? Thanks Snake IP: Logged |

Snake thanks for the idea. With the seaplane landing zone in the mission file a number of aircraft can 'ditch'. However this depends on their damage model. I've only done this with the Sea Mosquito and like a 'real ditching' success is dependent on the landing you make! (flaps downs, gear up & minimum speed) I've had reports that the B-17g can 'ditch' as well.cheers mace: IP: Logged |

I have successfully ditched the P38 as well... Landing a sea plane by a downed plane is _not_ easy.------------------ Snickers =FC= Thou shalt maintaineth altitude, lest the earth rise up and smite thee. IP: Logged |
