Is this idea new or old? One of the most dangerous missions that can be flown is photo-recon. Has anyone thought of coming up with a camera equipped aircraft that could take photos (screen shots) of potential targets with the appropriate mission data? Anybody want to build a Grasshopper?

I noticed in one of the Readme files that the developer asked if there were any vehicles that should be included in future updates.....hell yes, especially ground units. I have not seen any of the specialized German motorized/armored AA units (Wirblewind, Ostwind, SdKfz 10/4, MobileWagen) or similar units for the Allies (M16). Now I'm not well versed when it comes to WWII aircraft but when it comes to ground units I am quite familiar, since I've been playing wargames since the late 60s. This sim has a tremendous amount of potential and adding motorized/armored AA units would make some missions very dangerous. On the same subject....what about towed artillery (maybe for a FO aircraft mission), more drivable ground units especially for North Africa, Eastern Front and late war Western Front?

Are there any oil tanks/refinery models which go BOOOOM and make a nice big fireball? Hmmm.....has anyone done a B-24 or B-26?

I could go on like this forever but I'm sure you get the gist of what I'm saying.

Once again, thanks to those of you that helped me out....btw, the damn joystick plug came out of the USB socket....duh.

Actually on the subject of allied AA units, the driveable M16 Halftrack is built and is included in the Driveable Ground Object Pack v1 (GP). The others you mentioned aren't yet built but there are a host of other units such as German mortar Halftracks and Jeeps (with Bazooka loadouts), tanks and motorcycles in GP1.

P.S I'm working on a second driveable vehicle pack at the moment and I hope to include more armour among other things...namely the Sd Kfz 7 with Quad 20mm cannon/flak armament.

theres a special tytpe of ground unit that you need to fly over to destry in the mision builder pack, you can use this to make missions where the object is to recon an area.

Hello Gents,

Tried to d/l the vehicle pack but it's a no go....dead link.

I was just spouting off what I thought would be good to include in the sim. Ideas and the designers are what keep sims like this rolling....ahhhh, flying along.

Wulfe190,

Have you tried Simfiles to download the vehicle pack? I have just tried it and it works ok, so you might want to try downloading it from there.

Here's the direct link to the vehicle pack download at Simfiles.
