It's here!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the delay! I hope it was worth the wait...

You can download it at the following site: ftp://ftp.3dgw.com/incoming/WWI Pack2.exe

It's 33.6 megs so thats a heck of alot less than the Test Pack 2 which was 44 megs.

Please read all the readme files for the latest info and news. Installation should be easy! Just tell it where your Fighter Squadron directory is and hit Next. (Default is C:\Program Files\Fighter Squadron) It will overwrite your keyboard.inp, startup.ppf, MissionEditor.ppf, and sounds.ppf files but I would suggest a fresh installation for this pack.

The Moska MB-bis and Mk.IV Emhar tank were added in at the last second so that brings the flyable aircraft count to 24!

If you have any suggestions/comments/complaints PLEASE either e-mail me at ArgonV@AOL.com or just post here.

Enjoy!!!!!!!

Just copy/paste the text into your browser or download program. All should work well! Netscape users might have a slight problem as the file name has a space in it... But I havent tested it so I dont know.

I HAVE a 56K Modem

I've made bad big error and lost everything on my hardrive, and no backups, LOL

So yesturday i downloaded everything that gets me the current online standard. thats 7 hours, downloaded 2 things at a time and fininshed reading book while it was happening.

and with that i can fly online again, phew.

Now this morning i read the ww2 pack is released. such good timing, as i didn't download that one. so i'm getting that now. Thanks WW1 guys. I never usually step into your lobby area, but i appreciate planes from all eras within SDOE.

I'll have to give sailor an e-mail for his update CD, so i've got a snapshot intime Backup.

Aye semmern it is big, but I uploaded it on a 56k! And worse yet redownloaded it so I could be sure it worked, on a 56k! LoL.

The good thing with this pack tho is there really are no early beta planes (Just one I think) or duplicates. So you get the full deal as small as possible.

Hi! I'm Kilroy, and I'm new to flight sims, and Fighter Squadron.

I bought this game last month from a garage sale for 50 cents. I just found this site today. I'm would like to try and fly online with other people, but I have not seen anyone yet. As I read through the mountain of information here it seems that I may not have the same game you guys do. I don't have any WWI planes at all.

Where is the best place for a new guy to get his feet wet and get up to speed?

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Thanks

Kilroy

Pye, I think it's best if you download GPv1 for now, there's still some work to go on GPv2, I'd say it's about 60% done or so, there's 3 or 4 vehicles left to do, then it's ready tho, but it won't be ready anytime soon. I'll post some updates in the projects forum so you can check the GPv2 project in that forum for more info.

Thankyou Nealg and ArogonV.

I think I have everything. After checking out the links and spending the last several hours downloading, I think I'm ready.

Now....how do you fly these planes?

Why can't I download it? I've tried the cut and paste and Hentzau's site both. I've tried the regular windows downloader and an accelerator. All I get are time out messages. I can not connect! I tried last night, this AM and this PM. Help!

ArgonV,
I'm getting the same thing as Jerry. I can access your page but when I press the button to get the pack2 it gives me a page cannot be displayed. Hope this can be mirrored or the link fixed. Thanks for all of your hard work...

Are you using Netscape by any chance? Try GoZIllia or GetRight. Sometimes Simfiles acts up. It will be hosted at WoH soon aswell...

I think Kilroy got a pretty good deal for 50 cents. LOL If you aren't really great with computers theres a subject over in the "WWI in SDOE" section of the forum that is called "if you need help to play WWI - post here". It explains putting all the files in the game and assumes very little computer knowledge.

Li'l Bastard i'm telling you don't let the USMC see that picture. As a taxpayer I don't want to pay for another troop delivery system that won't fly no matter how many records they falsify.
