A big thankyou to all you plane builders! It's great to be able to fly new planes in SDOE almost every week. Thanks for all the hours you guys put in for the rest of us!

Yeah Thanks!

I am so glad I found my way to this site. If I had not stumbled upon the articles on Fighter Squadron at the Furball Magazine site I might not have known of this game.

It's kinda like fate, once I read the articles, I saw the game the next week at a garage sale.

I was able to fly yesterday online with a lot of help from weasel. Thanks! And ArthurQ too! (I thought I had you )I soon found I need lot's of practice! But I'm new to all this. I was disapointed I could not get WWI to work for me. I had spent the day downloading, and had installed the WWI 2 pack.

The piece from the article from Furball that caught my attention was this.

"SDOE is evolving with the help of the Open Plane architecture into a WWI sim, a post WWII sim, etc. Some guys have even figured out how to make the tanks and vehicles move and fire under the control of the human player. What it becomes is anyone's guess. The truth of the matter is, with it's 40X40 mile terrain limitation the WWI aspect seems to be a good bet"

The guy wrote that almost 2 years ago. Looks like he might have been right.

Once I figure out how to fly online in WWI I hope somebody will show mearcy on me like weasel and show me the ropes.

Thanks to everyone!
