Either I just discovered something really cool or I'm a big idiot and the last one to find this. I was just using the Hurricane sea plane, and I was in the training missions doing the first carrier operations mission. After taking off, I pressed F5 to see what the other aircraft was flying around, then I pressed F5 again and was inside the ship. I couldn't believe it. I then hit F6 to take control then I cycled throught the views only to find that I could use all of the gun turrents on the ship. I was blown away, I had no idea this was even in the game or even possible as of yet. Did everyone know about this? Or was it just me who found this out. I'm going back to play with the ship turrents again WOW!. ------------------ -Blacksheep http://geocities.com/jays3299/toshindo.html IP: Logged |

Open the sdemons.ini file and find the line below...it will be "0" by default, change it to "1" and you're set!AllVehicles = 0 On the subject, I've added an AA gun turret to the moving train in Bavaria and using the line above in the ini file, you can F5 to it and jump on the train's cars and control it and stop those nasty fighters from strafing you lol. Who wants it? ------------------ Visit FS:SDOE Online Future Home Of FS:SDOE Online HERE IP: Logged |

Ha Ha, Well at least I'm not the only person to have this happen to them. Thanks for the reply. Bullet, I don't know what ship it was but the mission I was playing was the Sea Hurricane training mission entitled "carrier operations". I never changed any settings it just sort of happened. Give it a shot. And I'll have to try out that tip Harman talked about, sounds really cool. Thanks for the reply's everybody.

And you can shoot the coastal guns too. I'm trying to remember how to raise the AA gunner's seat so I can shoot out of the halftrack.IP: Logged |
