this is kind wierd but I've been having trouble with my miss ed. When I open dover or snowy dover, there are words on it that arent supposed to be there, like descriptions of planes and such, since I first noticed it after I installed the p40, I removed it from my A/C folder and some of the words went away,....so...having also recenly reinstalled sdoe ..I put the V1 back in......so..I took it out and checked the miss ed dover....viola!...words are gone...put it back in...words are back...same with the p40....now ..when the V1 is in..the words in the miss ed are saying something about the mistrel...so..I figure the mistrel and the V1 have something in common....? I just wanted to see if anyone else has the problem and hope the final p40 (which I'm dyin to have) won't do this

This happens when you get too many planes in your Aircraft folder. You probably have over 100 (including Harman's ground vehicles if you have them, and the PlanePak aircraft which don't show up). Take out a bunch and see what happens. I have to maintain separate folders for WWI and Harman's ground vehicles to keep the number of planes in my Aircraft folder manageable and avoid the ME corruption.

they say if you install the 1.5.2.9. patched Mission Editor in it's own directory in your fighter squadron directory (folder) you won't have this problem...it worked (so far) for me becaus i had the same issue...
