i have uploaded 2 new skins for the p40 beta.
1 is just a more detailed version of the original lighouse loeu(whitch all credit should go to the the original skinner)and a fictional pearl harbor based p40 called "DYNAMITE" whitch is totaly done buy me  .README  whitch i forgot to put in the zip )
in the zip is both skins and the SM file of the p40.
put the SM file in your p40 folder and put the skins in the texture folder. if u want to use "DYNAMITE" rename it from p40fperl to p40f and rename the other 1 somthing else. The reason i have included the SM file is cos u need it to use 1024 skins as the original plane only used 512.!!!THIS WILL NOT AND SHOULD NOT EFFECT YOUR ONLINE COMPATABILATY!!! oh and u need the .9 patch to use the hires skins as well( making sure u have 1024x1024 size skins set as max in your otions/graphics menu in FS.9) p.s LOVE THE PLANE AND CANT WAIT tILL THE NEXT 1. also if u want to include that skin in the next beta package jug then please do so. biggles if you still have the templates for those schemes can you send me the PSD files with layers so I can check it out and see hwat I can do with my lines. IP: Logged |

never mind biggles, I took a look at the schemes themselves. If you want a copy of the 1024 template i'm doing it has accurate panels lines. Just so you know the lines on the current tif are completely wrong.  IP: Logged |

Razer, I would appreciate it if you would send that my way. Is it a .psd for photoshop ? I have been slowly working on others due to lack of time and much frustration.THANKS

yeah razer i know they were compleatly wrong its was just to make it looks a bit cooler and i wanted to see what it would look like in 1024.can u snd me the realistic 1024 template when its done please?

I say, Biggles, You may also want to mention the need to make a mission of some sort to play with your slick P40. Also, it may be just my machine but I found the aircraft a bit slow. Then again it is a beta. Works nicely. IP: Logged |

Downloaded and tried to play with the Ki100000. The installer puts it all over the game. It shows up in the Russian training screen with no missions. The training missions go just into the FS Training directory but don't show up in the game. The Directory goes into the FS directory but nowhere else. The textures go into the aircraft directory which is I think correct but nothing shows in the game. The .sm is named Ki100000i.sm but you say to put Ki100.sm in the Startup.pdf.
So far I haven't been able to sort out where everything should be. Is it an La7 with a different skin?IP: Logged |

Top Speed 364 mph at 20,000 ft, 300 mph at sea level (no wind, perfect trim, expert test pilot at the controls). If it seems a bit slow- that's because the P-40 was a bit slow IP: Logged |

The Ki-100 was a PRE-ALPHA put out for someone else to finish, fly the P-40F against 109E's, 109F's, and Zeros (both versions) for now. IP: Logged |
