One more shining example of how stupid the press is.

I was watching the internet traffic report last night (www.internettrafficreport.com) and things did slow to a crawl around the appointed time (ratings in N/S America and Europe below 20) but I didn't notice any slowdowns myself. Odd.

If nostradamus were still alive they'd give him his own show. Fatalism in the media... sheesh, you're right Maury.

Nobody ever said it was going to explode or burst into flames. All that was said was that'd it MIGHT get a little slow. This does not mean I side with the media. They're a bunch of biased bastards with their own bullcrap liberal agenda if you ask me. Starting with that bunch of rectal orifices at 60 Minutes.
In any case, the worm ONLY applies if you're using IIS 4 or 5 from Microsoft. Nothing else. Anybody using it is a bit nuts, says one who is forced to administer it. Half of it doesn't work and the other half requires your clients to use MS programs only.

Hey Sunray, I saw a bumper sticker you'd approve of on the weekend - You know the official L*b***l Party logo (defacing the flag if you ask me...)? Well this sticker had that logo at the top with an S at the end, and the second line in the same font:

Liberals
Make me want to puke!

lol

The bumper sticker I have on the back of my truck reads, "Insured by Smith and Wesson." It kept it safe while I lived in the slums of Guelph. Local riff raff busted my apt. windows but never touched the Blue Max.

You won't believe how many calls we had about the Code Red worm... jeez!

People are so worked up and worried about it due to all the media attention, but most are not vulnerable. We run BSD, so we're home-free too!
