Hello my good fellows!
Just letting everyone know that I'm not dead yet...in fact, I'm feeling much better!

Just started 9 days of vacation an hour ago!

Anyway, I know nothing has rolled out of the Pychedelic Squadron for awhile, life has been crazy & all, so I didn't have the time or motivation for a bit, also i'm hoping to be getting a new fire-breathing PC soon (aiming for 1.3ghz prossy, 1/2 gig o'ram, geforce3 ect.), the ol'233mhz with the VooDoo2 is REALLY starting to show it's age (the Desert Fox campaign I did a while back ran at FSP of, get this, 2.3 to MAYBE 5.5 in some missions, sad isn't it...anywho, that means some of my bigger plans are still on temporary hold...but I am currently working on some new scramble mission for all the current nations avalible.

They are also going to include missions using some of the new terrians, like the new Bavarian Terrian, Pacific, Snowy Dover, DoverNight, Somme, Ocean Terrians...ect. ect.

Also, there will be missions for new planes!
For example, if you are a big fan of that fiesty French plane, the D.520, you'll want these as I've done several scramble missions for this plane under France & since there are no "true" Italy birds yet, I also included some Italian missions using the D.520 (they did fly a few back then, ya know) (hint to anyone who would like to do a skin for that & BTW, a french P-40 skin might be cool too! ]
Other new planes will get new scramble missions as well, like the P-38F, the Bf109trop, some the unused spit variants, the sea version of the Hurricanes & Spits, and others...

I'm doing the missions with the latest patched version of the mission editior, so you be getting dawn, dusk & night missions as well...

I'm gonna try to have it out the door by this weekend!!!! So keep your browsers tuned!

NOW FOR THE FUTURE PROJECTS NEWS!!!
(after the new PC arrives)
************************************
The NORTH ATLANTIC CAMPAIGN is NOT DEAD!

I've already got about 15 (rough draft) missions written already, BUT she is still far from being ready! To make this campaign really kick ass (& more historically accurate), I'm going to need alittle help...

********TO GT: the Arado 196 you sent me rocks! I'm gonna have her in the NAC for sure! stop calling it a fake man, 'cause looks pretty damn good to me... keep me informed of any update you do & I'm gonna see if I can con MACE into doing a tender off of one the big german boats...

*********TO PETE HAWK: I emailed MACE awhile about your FW-200 & he said back then he would possiblly be willing to help with finishing the plane, as I've heard that you are WAY to busy with life to build planes right now...IF you willing to send it & MACE is still willing to take it up, it would be GREAT as the North Atlantic just won't be right with out it...

**********TO MACE: as you may have already surmized, I'm planning to beat you up terribly with request, but if you would be willing to help with these projects, it would be so cool 'cause those updated British Seaplanes of your are going the center stage stars of this campaign. A Sea Hurricane or Seafire will be in nearly every mission...

*******TO SNICKERS: Ithe PBY is ready in time, I'll have mission feature it as well!

If any other plane used in the North Atlantic happen to roll out, I'll try to work them out as well....

**********************
THE DESERT FOX 2 - ROMMEL LIVES!

I was very proud of the original DFC 'cause it was the FIRST to feature drive-able ground combat units, (created by Archy) but now of course Harman has defintly raised the bar on driveable groung units. with the original DFC, I also had to substitute some objects, like using a bofors gun & calling it an 88mm, but thanks to Scorpion Rogue, we've got 88mm's NOW...

But like the NAC, I need alittle help to make the DFC2 litterally crush the original..

**********TO RENDSBURGER: I ain't even gonna think the aboat DFC2 until you finish your new DESERT terrian, you've been speaking of lately..so keep me up on when it close to ready

**********TO HARMAN: two words...TIGER ONE

******TO WHO EVER HAS THE MACCI'S...any chance for a beta that I could use, the Italians really need a real bird here...Hey, the french are gonna be in it & they've got a plane!

A few other "down the road projects" are THE BATTLE OF THE BULDGE, Stuka Attack 2-Soviet Assault,(the original Stuka Attack Campiagn at Simfiles was my first!) and maybe then move into WWI or Pacific territories!

Well anyway, I'M NOT DEAD YET!!!!

Yeeee Hah

Summer bust be getting close to being over, things are starting to happen.

Hippie, you've now got a P-40 for your next desert fox campaign.

VERY cool stuff, can't wait to see them. BTW, the Wildcat FM has been heavily reworked and can take off from a carrier (just in case you want to put a British skin on it and call it a Martlett)

Hey Hip,
nice to see you.
You are asking about a the new africa terrain. In the moment itīs not more than an idea,so it will take time . In the meanwhile please create some campaigns for the excisting terrains (Pazific,Smolensk and Bavaria), because there are no campaigns for this terrains available.

Hippie, I haven't had time to work on the Tiger I yet, but there is a good selection of German armour to be added to GPv2 though, like the Panzer III and StuG III, plus the already made and available Tiger II. Once I finish those two above, (they're at about 60% average completion right now) I'll try and get the Tiger I started and maybe finished in time for GPv2 release.

Hey, that's cool. Would you please send those missions to me (maybe I could include a few of them in the next D.520 version)?
