Captain, I downloaded all the new skins. They all unzip fine. But the .tifs won't open for viewing causing Kernel 32 error messages and locking up my computer. They seem to be corrupted. I re-downloaded and re-unzipped but the same thing happened.

I had no problems with your 109 skins. Any ideas?

I downloaded them myself now and tried to unzip, no problems at all. Must be some trouble at your end, sorry.

Hi Guys..
Well I just downloaded all 3 hi-res skins for the Spits and none of the tif files will open up for me. I get an error msg saying that 'the documents format is invalid or unsupported', yet I can open up any of the other hi-res tifs from Cpt Farrel easily. The stranger thing is that after I go ahead anyway and install them and try them all both on and offline, they all work BEAUTIFULLY... I love the MKIX with it's D-Day Stripes the best. Bloody Sweet.

Same here Karaya 2, except I get a Kernel 32 error message and Explorer closes giving me a lockup. The do look gorgeous though don't they. Weird that they work in the game but don't open for display.

Ah! That's just because I don't want anyone to muck about with the skins!
Only Joking... Seriously, this is strange, I downloaded them and I can even view them while they're in the zip, no problem at all!
If you should need the files for some reason, let me know and I'll try and fix it.
Glad they work in the game though...

And finally thanks for your kind words!

More confusion. The tifs open with Infanview but not with the Explorer default.

Dinga; the Hi Res .sm file for the Vb is in the straight 'Spit' aircraft folder in the Hi Res .sm zip files available at Simfiles, if that is the file you were looking for. As the Vb was one of the original planes, it's folder was just named Spit.

Cpt Farrell, the 1a skin is absolutely fantastic. Thank you!!
