can anyone give me the link the tutorial pn making stuff (planes, static ground objects) of SDOE, i feel like having a bash. I downloaded AC3D but I can't save, so can do the 3D models in Autocad 14 or anything cheaper (read: Free)

you can try anim8or for modelling,itīs free. www.anim8or.com
You also need OpenPlane to bring the stuff into the game. Look at the links here at mainpage.

I still think with OL Tools and AC3D there is no better way to workon planes/objects.

40 bucks is cheap for AC3D and it's the best 40 bucks I've ever spent.
