Private Roger Pilot	posted 06-24- 06:37 AM Just One Week before the FSSDOE Squad Tournament Kicks Off! The missions (for those of you who have asked) are nearing completion. The variety of missions in terms of sizes runs the gamit from a classic Mano vs Mano (1 on 1) matchup to 6 vs 6, and everything in between. Several "Underdog" missions have also been made. These missions will be put up, along with a brief description of each at the Tournament site later this week. Esox has put up a special "Challenge" Forum at the Tournament site also ( thanks E). It's pretty obvious what that is for. Each Squad challenges the other to matches from that forum. The response from the SDOE "solo pilots" who have joined up and become part of the Tournament has been remarkable! The specially created "Red" squad which these players joined will most likely be divided up and half of the members will be put into a NEW Tournament squad. Look for that to happen in the next day or so. We will need to have the CO, or a spokesperson from each squad step forward so that we have one person to contact for Tournament related info. If I can hear from those CO/Spokepersons soon I would appreciate it. The 26Ac Squad and the 225th Squad are lacking a couple of guys from being able to compete in all the squads missions as of today. I suspect that will change, but if the Squad leaders would contact me I would appreciate it. Is there anymore concern about use of the Patch for the Tournament? If so, I have a work a round I think. I need a little input as to who specifically has issues with the Patch, and is not competing in the Tournament simply because of it's inclusion as a requirement. Speak up please guys. Rendsburger Pilot	posted 07-28- 05:45 AM PR, is it possible to add some 1vs1 missions to the tourny, because it´s not easy to find more than 1 from each squad for online playin in the moment. And i just wonder why so many guys registert to the tourny but never be online. Maybe it´s because of summertime or while FSIC was down. Sailor Pilot	posted 07-28- 04:23 PM Rendsburger, I agree with you 100% here, only 3 pilots from our squad showed up, but I'd like to keep trying all the same... and I'll be out of town for 3 weeks in august so let's just hope the tournament will go on for a few more weeks in september so we can fly a few missions. Time zones were also a problem as the 3 pilots ready to fly our Squad were from very different time zones and we have never been able to be all together on-line at the same time. Sailor IP: Logged
Pye Pilot	posted 07-29- 03:13 AM it'S summer, It's life catching up, It's other new MMP games online, it's new sims, it's good demos, it's normal around this time! The smaller 1v1 missions would be nice, as but would you replace the large ones 6v6 etc, I think maybe yes, But one of the other problems is keeping track of who has already flown against who. 1 2 3 4 5 = Squads 1x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x a chart like above is needed IP: Logged
