I've been playing with things in par 1 and I see no reason to have all those files in there when half aren't used.

I've been trying to change GUI's in game and everything is HC. All the files are in the GUI folder yet nothing can be changed. I removed them completely and everything still worked. So why have them there?

Bryan? Michael? Anyone?

Rather than dump the files from par1 I'd like to see the game look to them instead of somewhere Hard Coded.

As do I, since my latest project is dead in the water without being able to change things.

They are actually stored as exe resources. I guess It wouldn't be that big of a job to use the external files.

Great! GT and I desparately wanted to change the GUI a bit back when we were doing "Bombing the Reich" (although I think the GUI is excellent on the whole). If it does become doable, I hope I didn't trash my replacement backgrounds. Maybe I should dust them off?

Hmm Razer, I think we may be up to the same or similar projects, just different theatres.

Thanks Schaf.. don't think mine will ever look that good though lol

I agree though, I think SDOE should use whats in the parfile rather than drawing it from somewhere else, I hope you're able to fix this Bryan
