I'm going through squadron ppf files right now (the stuff that makes squadron descriptions show in game) and I'm noticing for several squads there is only a description in english. I am totally willing to have all languages have squad descriptions for the squads section of the game, but I will need someone who can read english to do the translation for each language. If you're able to do this, please post here. I will need the translations made pretty quickly and I don't think it should be much more than an evening's work if you're proficient at translation, but I'm on a tight timeline so if you commit I would like them done by this time next week, please. Please don't email me, just post here, I'll take the first volunteer for each of the languages mentionned. If nobody presents themselves for a given language, then things stay status quo for Nv3 for that language. Just in case it comes up, English, French, German and Italian are the only languages supported by SDOE, thats not a Nations thing that's a design thing. Believe it or not, some French squads don't have a full description in French. I wanted to fix those, I guess I can do a couple more IP: Logged |

Thanks guys. I was just looking at my schedule and its a bit touch and go until Monday, so a revision to the deadline above, it'll be one week after the time you receive the files from me. I hope to have them prepped by Monday at the latest. Ok, we have a volunteer for France, how about Germany and Italy? Werner ------------------ Abbeville Field: Dedicated to the SDOE Experience. Werner, If you really don't find anyone for Italy, I'll try to do it and have my translations reviewed by and Italian friend (have a few available that will probably help). It'll take longer probably though, but it's possibly better than nothing.Germany I could have an even slower solution that I could try as a last chance possiblity. Just let me know anyway. Sailor - Ok, you're on for Italy too then, thanks. To be honest I would have thought Blasius or Rendsburger would have jumped at the chance to have these updates made for the German language. Oh well, no skin of my nose. Werner ------------------ Abbeville Field: Dedicated to the SDOE Experience. IP: Logged |

Ok, Sailor for two, Vau for one. I'll get the squad descriptions to you asap. Rather than next week though, I realized that since we're doing the squads for Nv3 now too, why not wait and get them all done in a batch at once. I will be in touch when we're ready at this end. --> Nv3 devteam, please try to meet our Phase 3 deadline!! It will take me a couple evenings to put all the translations back into the ppf files, time I'm prepared to spend but wasn't counting on until I discovered the problem.
