I flew the Spitfire Seaplane in the training mission. After taking off from the seaplane base I took it for some test landings and takeoffs.

It landed and took off from the middle of the bay, landed and took off from the middle of the ocean, landed and took off from the shallow water next to the southern most island.

I thought this wasn't supposed to be possible? But I'm sure glad it is!

The seaplane landing zone covers some 80% - 90% of water in the Africa / Pacific terrain's (haven't investigated any other terrain's as yet). This means seaplanes can land in lakes and some rivers as well as the open sea. This ground object is based on the landing plate of the 'Mogami', but covers an entire terrain, i.e., it's a very, very large plate. Credit for this excellent add-on (which is only about 2k in size and 2 ploys) goes to Nat.

cheers mace
