Project Jessica is now out in the open. She is an A-20G Havoc. there was many different G models and i'm working on figuring out which one to do. The plane is being changed to have the glass nose so the boston can be made and there is already a boston scheme in the works. This plane was lend-leased to britain and russia so i'm sure many more variants will be made.

This plane has only been in development for about 4 days but is really moving thanks to a lot fo help.

Like I said before this plane will be released as an AI plane first. Meaning it will not have a cockpit (well the P-38 will be in there and working) It will pretty much be a solid beta without the cockpit. FM will be good and everything will be working and lower LODs will be in.

I'm going to see how this goes and see about doing this int he future. On another note the P-51B is back from FM work and final touches are going on for it's version 2.0 release, look for it in a few weeks.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: I gotta do a Pacific campaign soon. More and more Pac planes are arriving . All we need now is a TBM and a Slow-But-Deadly (SBD ). I bet Jeeves is with me on that last one .

I've been lucky enough to have helped Razer with the Havoc, and what can I tell you, OK after some small initial FM work.. she is just so damn sweet to fly!, I can't explain it, but the A20 Swoops around, so damned garceful, it's a pleasuer just sitting back and watching her, she realy is that good, shes a dream to fly, beautiful sweeping turns, doesn't pull hard out of dives, but that adds to the way she swoops through the air, pure plessuer really, I have to thank Razer for asking be to do a few things on her, she realy is that nice to fly

Woohoo! Been waitin for that one! Very nice! Suggestion: have BOTH the glass nose and the cannon nose. You can make the two noses "pylons" and switch them out as "loadouts." You can even have a crew position in the glass nose. Take a look at the Lanc Special to see what I mean...

Of course, you can always do two planes (or even 3 if you count the French DB-7--France can use another plane too).

What's the history on the DB7? When did it come into service? Sounds like it warrants its own plane, not just a loadout...

I have very limited data and if any of you guys have info on the DB7 or any variant of the Havoc then post away. All info would help Nat and myself make this a killer plane.

Yes the DB-7A deserves its own plane, it has different engines, different weapons and different instruments.

You may already know this or just have not gotten to it yet but the G model had a window behind the gunners turrent that was square and a little oval windows below the insignias on the sides. Just in case you couldn't find a picture of it.

figured I'd post this to let you know about the mapping a little. The fuse is mapped in 4 places so the schemes can be very nice at 512, Also many A-20s had nose tip art painted around the guns and this too can be done with the mapping i've added.

NOTE: guns have not been moved to the right places yet.

An A20?? Lovely - just what I always wanted
so I could do no 23 squadron RAF (the Warbirds
squadron I am in, although I haven't flown
in a good while due to other committments).

Looks very nice.

Shouldn't be too hard to take the basic A20
and work it up into an A26, or into earlier
A20 series machines.

Now a Boston Turbinlite... wonder how that
could be done :-)

there has been no change to the plane itself, just tech work.

All my current projects are on slow mod since I'm thinking of working on some BoB planes for awhile to take a break from the norm.
