Somone gave me a link to an old post about it. But it didn't tell me much about getting one.

Do a search for a guy named Spoon, get get his e-mail address and tell him that you would like a catch-up CD. He is the one that does them. Hope this helps.

Ok,
On top of everything else, I'm spending my time putting together a SDOE Updates CD(s). The file structure is set up, some of the pages are already done, and I have most of the files already.

I need permission from all terrain builders, plane builders, skinners, tutorial writers, mission/campaign builders, and add-on creators to include their stuff on the CD.
For the above stuff, the list will be shorter if those who DON'T want it included let me know.

There are some specific things I need permission for since they are/may be copyrighted.

The SDOE patch by Sean, Bryan & company
SDOE Chameleon
SDOE Control
SDOE Beeper
Open Plane Studio
Hippie's Tools
Ground Crew

In addition, I'm asking permission to include the following software on the CD's:
AC3D demo
Anim8or
The GIMP
Irfanview
HJSplit
StarOffice
Zonealarm

It will also include the complete Fighter Squadron Central website on the CD with the tutorials and links to everything.

Oh yeah, once it's put together, I'll need one person in Australia, and one person in Europe that has a burner volunteer to be the suplier of the CD's in those areas.

jUST A NOTE WITH THE zoNEALARM

The version 2.1.44 is great for online play
, no problems

the version 2.6.88 (latest) just make all other planes online appear to you '1 second warp machines'

ie totally unplayabe!

I have 2.1.44, so I'll include that version- thanks for the warning!

Maybe I should see if I can include a demo of black ice defender. it's a pain the first few times you play online as you have to specify permission for the server IP addresses, but it worked fine after that. THe main reason I went with Zonealarm was
Black Ice- $39
ZoneAlarm- $0

Want me to send you the older version if you don't have it Pye?
