Topic: Am I the first to notice all the problems with the 262?

I've been converting a WW2 scheme to SDOE (512) and i've noticed some problems with the 262.The outter flaps don't work the bottom of the hora stab isn't mapped where it should be there's no airfoil info for the outter flaps it also has a few lighting problems. Is anyone updating the 262 model? I'd like to have a go at it. I've found some new things in AC3D I'd like to play with. [This message has been edited by Razer (edited 06-10-2001).] IP: Logged |

I know he was doing a 2 seater but that's it. I've only converted the skin and nothing else. Looks pretty good for just a skin change.IP: Logged |

This is good news since the last word that I got was that Stormbirds was not going to build a sim.

Remember not too long ago-- we were posting on the topic of an update project--- it was a HUGE thread that led to all types of discussions We are working on updating the original 10 planes-- that means new FM's, DM's, PM's, and new weapons and loadout options-- that is what got me started on changing all the loadouts to begin with So-- the 262 and Mossie are being working on through that project-- and having test objects and screenshots to look at- all I can say is it is impressive ------------------

Yes Razer the P-61 is on hold untill fall. It looks increadible in 512 by the way!Summer came and I am busy with my RC flying. I travel to fly-ins and fly demos with my 70lb, B-17.
