I have put in combat this afternoon, at 8 He 219 against 8 Mosquitos.
The result: 4 survived He 219 after destroying all the mosquitos.
The He 219 take 2 canyons of 20 mm, 4 of 30 mm, and 2 but of 30 mm in installation SM.
He/she has very good flight characteristics; but they still lack adjustments.

Hmmmmm How does this come out if you use the Sea Mossie instead.....?

Nat - Not *too* unrealistically low (although there was a saying that altitude is life....) But in a fight that starts at 10,000' it doesnt take long until you were _much_ closer to the surface...

Well lets be honest, high altitude dogfighting is impossible in SDOE. I have read accounts of Mustangs doing loops and flying upwards chasing baddies at 35,000 feet. In SDOE at 35,000 if you pull back on the stick you pull up a bit and then roll over.

I begin many missions to great height. What I have noticed is that all the airplanes go losing height, and they finish combatting to few meters of the floor.
Thank you for the good comments of the airplane.

Yo comienzo muchas misiones a gran altura. Lo que he notado es que todos los aviones van perdiendo altura, y terminan combatiendo a pocos metros del suelo.
Gracias por los buenos comentarios del avión.

even without SDOE's wierd handling aspects at high altitude, I have to admit to being a bad pilot above around 22,000ft, I like being able to actualy see the horizon. I'm getting better due to working on the Mig though, where primarily all battle testing I do starts at that altitude, since it was designed for high altitude intercept, but agreed, it's very hard to stay up there, especialy when the AI seems programed to fly and fight as low as possible and get that as fast as it can lol, I hate the fact that they dive for the ground and prefere to fight down there.
