Ok bad Subject but hey....

Here are three pictures of Jetlag and Kommando flying FW-190A8s online 6.1 with patch 1.5.2.9. Both fired their guns and I noticed their bullets went off in strange directions. I have never seen this before.

Tracers heading up and right:

Tracers heading down and left into water:

Tracers going up and right again but different angles:

Each time they opened fire it was a new direction.

So whats all that about?

Wow, weird Snake?! Just to add; I didn't see anything unusual from the cockpit.

(from work on this crappy 233)

This is a client side problem and does NOT effect game play. It's only happening on your computer and everyone is fine.

So other then just looking stupid while gameplay is going on it doesn't effect the game or the outcome of the battle.

How can it NOT affect gameplay if the bullets are missing the intended target?

This is an artifact of online play. Notice it only affects someone else's bullets, not yours.

I think it has something to do with movement prediction algorithms not applied the same way to planes and tracers. I saw it once online, I was following a Mustang chasing a Fw 190. The Mustang opened fire, its tracers looked like they were being fired from behind. He got the Fw, but on my machine none of its tracers had been displayed around its target.

Are you sure it isn't sabotage by the slave labor in the munitions factories?

whilst watching others after i've crashed.

My guess is that the 'problem' didn't really manifest itself before since no dark missions were possible before. I don't believe it has much to do with the patch itself.

Thats one thing thats wrong with SDOE: The tracers. We have all seen footage of tracers going off into the sky from AAA but in SDOE you lose sight of them after a 1000feet.
