The WW2 Airshow in Reading PA is absolutely awesome! B17's, P51's, B25, P47, Devastators, Corsair, a Kate, Dauntless, A10's, Harriers. I have no idea what all. Many more to be sure. More to come in today. You can touch these planes at this show. Feel the skins, watch hydraulics drip at your feet(actually on your shoes), see and breath the exhaust, have your hat blown off from the prop wind and buy rides on a few. Last night I was getting ready to leave and two Harriers swooped down and hovered over the airfield for a time and landed and are also there.

There is also tons of ground tents and setups of WW2 and related stuff, simulated skirmishes, German tent communities, jeeps, motorcycles and other vehicles running all over the place. To see pilots, ground troops and ladies all dressed in 1940's garb was nice also. Music and WW2 news reports on the public address all day.....man, I can't explain it all. Even had a nice flea market. This was my first airshow of any kind. But it being only WW2 (other than the Harriers and A10's)....whew, I gots to collapse again.

The only thing was....no Spitfire

Lucky Buggers!

We only have 1 flying Spitfire here, not to mention NO B17's, Corsair's, Dauntless's, A10's OR Harriers!!!

So, you don't have it too bad!

My photos of the Reading Airshow are here: http://photos.yahoo.com/corbin_lee

There are 75 photos in the Reading folder, mostly of Tanks and such... Also of Corsair, P47, TBM, Dauntless, and B-17 row.

Could an expert modeler make the AAW vehicle shown above?

I'm prepared to go to any Airshow in the North East to get photos of other craft. I take requests.
