This just means that the structure of the SM file you are reading isn’t right.

What is actually happening is that when OPS read the last record, it came to the end, and the next record header wasn’t where it expected it to be.

The last record read was a LOD (0x1BCD0006). It could be you are trying to open a newer version SM file, as they have some extra information in the LOD record

In other words, if youre not a programmer and know how to fix the problem... Youre SM file is screwed for life.

Ive seen this type of error so many times, and the best way to combat it is to make backups!
