From now on set all big textures to 512x512 (or 1028x1028 if you want)

I'm sure if it is a 1028x1028 texture SDOE will down size it to 512 if this is set in your options. SDOE will NOT increase the texture if the SM is set to 256x256. Meaning if you have a 512 texture and the SM is still set to 256 you will not get the detail it should have.

Just thought I'd let you know since I can't open the Ki-61 to fix this and I've been waiting months for this to happen. Guess i'll just enjoy the P-51B and B-26.

Can you open it in OPS? If so you can just double click on the texture and change the size in the dialog box.

yes I can open it in OPS, but that never works. Nothing is changed in OPS when I do that so I've always used OL tools.

It does work, I changed the Hurricane like that. Sometimes if the 3D window loses the focus, the save command doesn't work, so after you change it, click in the 3D window and then press save.

A new day for SDOE!

The best thing yet, we can see panel lines and weathering now! Thanks very much for this increadible new feature.

It is summer and my plane building and painting is on hold but this is so damn tempting, hmmmmmmm, the P-26 skin might need some work and that Gee Bee would look great with a re-do and the Black Widow-

You guys DO realize that this "little" enhancement, combined with the HUGE artistic talent of our "skinners" just put the SDOE planes on the same graphic level as those in CFS 2, doncha?

No mean feat considering how "old" SDOE is, eh?
