Put something in the folder. A blank *.txt file is the usual way.

Well thats exactly what I dont want to do...

I notice that the empty folders were created by Plane Pack 6 and the WWI Pack.

Argon, why can't you just put in a text file and do what has been done in the past. I just pulled up some of the files in SDOE and I see that most of them have the text file and this inside

"Files used by main program are placed in this folder."

I also tried to Zip an empty file to see if I could help you and could not

How about putting the readmes in the texture folder(s) instead of in the seperate wwi_readme folder and then each texture folder in the according individual aircraft folder? Or go get Powerdesk at cnet. Thats what i'm using and it will zip and unzip empty folders. The last pack also had 4 specific wav files that weren't placed in the par file for each aircraft, but in the folders instead. I wonder why?

But the real question is can I zip up the empty folders with powerdesk and you unzip what I zipped with winzip and get the empty folders. I'll make a zip and we can try it. out.
