I've just been testing the various axis PP6 a/c and have no control probs anymore...I suspect the previous probs may have been down to my crappy VIA mobo. So, for the first time in months, I'll be online this weekend flying with my staffel (JG3). ------------------ Oblt. Hey Siggi.Worth noting: http://www.esox.net/fc/squadwar/ Make sure you give the different countries in Nations a try, there is some quality work that went into Nv2. See you in the air, Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |

Hey Siggi,HOW many times did I insist that your problems were NOT caused by FS or the PP downloads? Ok,ok... not gonna rub it in... (maybe just a little) IP: Logged |

Ok Zur, enjoy your moment. Then I'll see you online in your flying lawn-dart and mash you up. Yes, I'm running pure intel kit now and have had none of the grief I had with the VIA crud. The planes handle sweet as a nut now and I'm ready to do some serious damage. Thanks for the welcome back chaps. I have to say, the work that's been done during my long absense is truly marvellous...I hope Il-2 gets some of your expert attention when the time comes. ------------------ Oblt. Sepp Toll. Hi guys...and my legal eagle. Spanky, I was running a P3-800-100FSB on the VIA mobo (P3V4X). I'm now running a P3-933-133FSB on the Abit SH6 (815e chipset). Also got the GeForce Ultra and SDoE has never looked, or run, better. I ran a mission earlier with 3 P-38's, 3 Tiffies, 2 Me262's and 3 Fw190's, at 1600x1200x16 and the frames never dropped lower than 50FPS, with all a/c on screen. Nice. I'll be on Cal-12 tonite, after 9.30pm GMT...testing with my squad. So if anyone wants a chance to paste my rusty arsch...you know where to find me. ------------------ Oblt. Sepp Toll. Siggi again in the SDOE skies. Zurawski said it's time he got wise. Werner, nostalgic with mist in his eyes. Archy was tempted and so he replies. Just like the old days when Sig cast his flies.IP: Logged |

Now, look what you've done! Whole keyboard soaking wet. I had to go out to work sobbing and trying hard not to shed any tears (I didn't take a bottle with me and dehydration is a terrible thing) and look stupid. Now, I'm typing this on a work puter through a plastic keyboard cover gizmo (they would sack me for another damaged piece of PC equipment!).Anyways, the times are chaaanging.... Good old days are coming. I wish I was back on the 28K Cheers ------------------ 9./JG3_Poniat IP: Logged |

Archy's poems! I had almost forgotten about some of those! Man you wrote some good ones...Hey, who knows, maybe SDOE is entering a new "golden age". I think as time goes on it will be the western/mediterranean front sim of choice for many. Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |

I do believe SDoE is heading for a major come-back. The new texture sizes, scratch-built terrains, patch that seems to have sorted the online damage bug (Spoon's loadouts incorporated into 6.1 worked fine for me last night, I actually got some realistic kills)...a western front to accompany Il-2's eastern one. We weren't using PP6.1, we used PP6.0 and Spoons. Tried PP6.1 and 1.5.2.9 tonight though - looking good IP: Logged |
