It seems that I had better luck on my work machine this morning. I was able to download many files, but there were many where the URL couldn't be found as well. Many of the files I wanted and tried over the weekend and last
Friday turn out to be the files that the URL is a problem. It is strange but all the problemed files are by Yardstick with the exception of one by Lfbpro. I can download some of his files but everyone I couldn't was his. Here are the files I could not download by aircraft type and skin number (file # from top of list) Bf 109E #5, 6, 8 Fw 190 #1, 2, 3, 5 Fw 190-D9 #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 A6M2 & A6M5 #5, 6, 7 Spitfire MkIa #2 Hurricane MkI #4 P-51B #1 P-51D #2, 3, 4, 5, 17 (Glam Glen) P-47D #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 P-39 #3 I-16 #1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Yak-3 #1, 2 All the rest I was able to download today. Werner do these files have spaces between parts of the name. A few I tried on IE and had the same problem. ------------------

Some in the list have spaces, others don't. I tried again from work (different isp) and no trouble with IE5.5Only nealg & psi indulged us with information about downloading in the other thread, so I have no idea if this is a widesperad thing or just a few people. I know Nat has had troubles with simfiles as a whole, perhaps its a similar reason for you.  Werner IP: Logged |

I tried the Windows NT machine at work using IE instead of Netscape and picked up most of the previously "not able" files. I still seem to have a problem with the first file in Fw 190A-3 and many of Yardstick's P-47D files.However, things are a lot brighter as I was able to download about 37 MB of skins now.

The links for the first 190a3 and the first seven 47ds are broken, will be fixed asap. All other files work great with IE, hit and miss with NS until I can go get rid of spaces in filenames (stupid netscape).So, 'tis business as usual at AF if you're looking for skins, I apologize for the linkage issue - stuff happens, I'll have it cleaned up pdq.
