when u r on the ground your wheels make the "skid" sound, but when u apply brakes they don't.....
well, shouldn't that be the opposite?!?

Yes, this is because the material the tires are made of on most of the default planes are set to default, ie, Cement. Rub cement on a concrete runway and I'd bet you'd get an abnormal sound.

Solution? It's quite easy, simply change the material of the tires to 'rubber which is how they should be, and the skid sound will disappear except of course, when you skid. Some of the user planes already have this set, and the Ju88A4 DM I'm working on just had this changed to rubber too, it makes the plane grip the ground better especially under brakes and it gets rid of that annoying skid sound too.

OR, if you're not too good with OPS or don't wanna tinker with planes, click below and download my sound wavs which have the skid sound replaced by the normal tire rolling sound:

Put these sounds in "Media\Sounds\" and you should have no more skid sound drama.
