Question: I am trying to verify something about the Gotha 229- I have found in more than one source that it had 4 cannons, not 2. Could someone verify this? I tried adding it to the loadout, but only two showed up- so I imagine there must be some OPPs work that has to be done....*sigh*Problem: The He-162. I have renamed my aircraft folder and attempted to start up a mission with this one- and I get instant CTD....it works fine in 6.0 (I think)- but my install with 6.1 always CTD's the 162....I am trying to work on the loadout and wanted to do some testing....does it CTD for anyone else, or is it just my install that needs fixing? ------------------

I downloaded the PP6.1 and in the readme, they said that Go229 and He162 CTD. I tried (they used to work fine with the PP6.0) and no problem I could fly with them. For me I have no problem with this planes.If you need something, tell it and I will try to help you. IP: Logged |

A loadout must exist in the .ppf file AND in the model (and all references must be correct or it won't show up at all, so you are correct some OPs work os needed....)By the same token, the P39 had 2 guns on each wing not 1 (for a total of 7 guns) I used to have a picture of one shooting all its guns at near dark.. wow! Just something else that needs to be done.... IP: Logged |

Get ArgonV's updated Go229, it flys beautifully, smoothed engines, and 4 cannons.IP: Logged |

I built a Dragon model of the Horton (Gotha) 229 quite some time ago and it came with only 2 cannon. I also have the Monogram publication for the same and I believe it also indicated 2 cannon. However, since the only completed unit flew but two times before the pilot plowed it into a railway embankment on an unauthorized flight the question is somewhat academic. Most likely drawings exist for both loadouts.IP: Logged |
