After SPR it crossed my mind. During Enemy at the Gates it cropped up again, briefly. But after seeing PH last night I'm convinced - we need a new ricochet/damage sound. Currently ours sounds like somebody crashing around in a garage instead of that piercing metal sound like in PH. Now I have no idea if that sound is realistic or not, but it sure is more jarring than what we've got right now.

I'm no sound guru but I have the capacity to record wavs, so I was wondering if there was a sound guru (Commando, Lector, Meatwater, etc) who figured they could do this well, but if not I'm going to get an assortment of pots and a big metal spoon and start experimenting.

I have some really cool richochet sounds that I think casualty made. Or else they are at his squad's website.

Werner, the sounds that PSI refers to are the ones I use, I recommend them. When the enemy at the gates and PH DVD's come out I will be using them to update the sounds where I can get them to fit.
