Just thought you might like to see this.
Here are the frame rates for the following system in B-17 attack, and the Yak 8 vs 8 missions for the following system.
(Unfortunately- it's not mine 
)1Ghz AMD T-bird
MSI K7T266 Pro MB
256MB PC1200 (266 Mhz)DDR memory
30GB IBM ATA 100 HD
ATI Radeon LE 32MD DDR
1024X768, Antialiasing off, vsync on, all details in SDOE maxed
v 1.5 running under D3D
B-17 Attack 3 B-17's in view 69FPS
Yak mission:
inside cockpit (reflective cockpit) 5 aircraft in view- 40FPS
Outside aircraft, never dips below 50FPS
With antialiasing on the frame rate is cut in half. Image quality is excellent although RGB needs adjusting from default values.
I'll try it in the patch later, and post pics if I can access my ISP personal site.
