Texture index is wrong or the tif is in the wrong folder.

With the way the texture looks above it lookd like you need to remap anyway since the mapping looks shifted like parts were moved after mapping.

It's always a good idea to completely finish the model or at least the base plane without gear before you texture map it. that way you have all tweaks and adjustments mostly out of the way and you can import the plane at one time.

Are you using OL tools? It's real easy to use OL tools to import and export LOD files and not have to use OPS to import.

If you want to "export to .lod" from AC3D, make sure that when you map your texture to your part, you ALSO "paint" the part one of the colors in AC3D, and set that color's "shininess index" to the SAME number as the texture index for that .tif in the .sm file.

For example, in OPS, the first texture in the list would be "He219.tif" probably (if you only have one .tif for the paint scheme). This .tif has a texture index of 1.

When you map that part in AC3D, right-click on one of the colors, select "edit" and move the little slider for "shininess" until it reads "1." Then "paint" the part that color. Then, when you export the part as a .lod, the .lod will "remember" what texture to use.

It looks like your .sm isn't referencing the texture you really want it to use. Of course, you also have to make sure the texture file is in the right folder and that the reference in the .sm file is correct

I export and I care as. OBJ, and I don't eat. LOD; because it is the only way that I found of to convert the file to .3DS and to care him to Ac3D.
I see that you speak of caring as. LOD, perhaps that it is the problem, since the file of the texture is in the correct place and the índex number is also correct because it verifies it in the pad of notes. What seems to happen is that the object doesn't take "THE PORTION THAT CORRESPONDS HIM" inside the file. tif.

Razer: ¿ that OL tools is, where I can get it ?
